Obituary of George Arthur Corrin
George Arthur Corrin passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on November 2nd, after a short but fierce fight with cancer.
George’s passion for community, education, and carpentry was well known among those who knew him. His dedication as District Governor, to Lion’s
International, will be sorely missed.
George will be missed by his wife, Barbara (née Singal), children Scott (Jennifer) Corrin, Jeffrey Corrin, Elizabeth (Maxwell) Oates, Kathryn (Dustin) Brubacher, and Matthew Singal. Grandchildren Titus, Riley, Josiah, Keaton, and Sadie. Will be missed by many friends.
As per George’s request, Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or Parkinson Canada.
