Obituary of Patricia Ann Stevenson

We are sad to announce Ann’s peaceful passing on July 24^th, 2024.  Originally from Nottingham England, Ann, in her 80th year, is predeceased by her loving Partner, Claude Bennett, Sister Joan Chase (Gord), and Parents Harold and Gladys Swann. Loving Mother to Dean (Cheryl) and Gail, beloved Auntie to Mark and Jamie (Lynsey).  Cherished Nanny to Aaron (Emily), Rebecca (Ben), Ayden (Rebecca), and Riley. Proud GG to Alexander, Nolan and Sloane.  Ann will be dearly missed by all of us, her many good friends and of course all of the fur babies.

Ann had a short but fierce battle with cancer. She and her family and friends enjoyed the time we had as she rallied from her diagnosis with strength and a renewed verve for life. In her final month, she enjoyed many of her favourite things like a visit to the trailer, afternoons in the garden, dinners at Red Lobster and even a trip to the casino.

She was surrounded by family at the Parkwood Institute, Palliative Care Unit in London, Ontario. We are forever grateful to the incredible staff and Nurses PJ, Karen, Michelle and Carole, as well as Dr. George Kim, who all helped Ann pass gently, peacefully and with dignity. 

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held on September 28^th, 2024 at Twin Springs RV Park at the community hall.  99 Forth Concession, Cathcart at 2:30 – 6:30 p.m.  Ann and Claude have many cherished memories here.
