GARRISON: Hilda Mary
Hilda passed away peacefully at University Hospital on April 22, 2016. She will be missed by her sons Cliff Hardick (Lin) and Robert Hardick (Cathy). Nana lived for her grandchildren Patty van der Mark (Joost), BJ Hardick and Dan Hardick (Ginelle) and enjoyed her great grandchildren Luke, Cole and Coen. She was born in Montreal, raised in Ireland, was a veteran of WWII serving in the Women’s Air Force in England. She enjoyed her years in retail at Fairweathers and Tiffany’s in the 60’s and 70’s in London. She was married to George Garrison for 34 years and knew every detail of golf tournaments, curling bonspiels and Nascar racing. Hilda enjoyed her later years with many friends and staff of Longworth Retirement Home. Thank you to the Palliative Care Unit of University Hospital for their care and compassion.
