PAONESSA, Mary – Surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at University Hospital, Mary Paonessa passed away in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Sam Paonessa (2001). Loving mother of Lorraine Kozloski of California, Patricia (Gary) Wood of Grand Bend and Gary (Lorna) Paonessa of London. Cherished nana to Jennifer (Peter) Galant, Jackie (Chris Moran) Wood, Michelle Paonessa and Matthew Paonessa. Proud great nana to Meadow Moran, Naveen Galant and Quinton Moran. Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life followed by internment in Woodlands Cemetery will follow at a later date. Thanks to the staff and doctors in emergency, 4th floor and palliative care at UH for their care and compassion in her last few days. Special thanks to the staff on 3rd floor at Earl’s Court for keeping her in a safe and loving environment.
