Yesterday was your birthday, Mom, and I did the best I could to make it a special day with you in mind. I did the things we would have done if you could have been here by my side: Listened to classical music pieces, looked at old photos, enjoyed the beauty of the nature around us, even the sun came out! I lit a candle for you at the beginning and again at the end of the day, in the purple butterfly candle holder I picked up for you ....I cried as I remembered you and what you meant to me and how we would have spent the day if you were here: together and in harmony.
