Barry..It was nice to talk to you yesterday.
I didn't add how much I enjoyed coming to visit you and Pat when we lived on Hincks Street. I loved leaving the kids with Ken and coming and seeing all your new "antiques"
Pat was always so kind and lovely.
We will miss her greatly!!!!

Dear Barry: Please know that we share your sorrow in the passing of Pat, your life partner. Our memory of you and Pat goes way back to the time we lived in Nelson Park and to our employment at Northern. We look with pride at the beautiful pieces of furnature we purchased at Memory Lane that were lovingly restored by yourself and Pat. We also are reminded of her dedication as a volunteer at Animal Aide. Having had a number of feline friends ourself over the years we can appreciate her great devotion. We regret that our visits have been few and far between since we moved out of St Thomas in 2006. We'll be giving you a call soon to arrange for a visit.
One of my favorite quotes from Kahlil Gibran will perchance give you some comfort at this difficult time.
“For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?
And what is it to cease breathing but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?
Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountaintop, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shal claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.”
In the meantime, take good care my friend.
Al Tucker

I worked with Pat for several years as part of the Elgin Animal Hospital. Her dedication and compassion for the several cats that she rescued was second to none. I am thankful that I had the pleasure of knowing this lovely and caring lady. She made the world a better place. My sincere condolences to Barry and his family.

Dear Barry, Greg and Nancy, and family. Our sincere condolences to you. We knew Pat as a friendly, gracious woman who always seemed genuinely interested in us, and in the lives of our daughter, son, and their spouses, and our grandson. We will miss our ‘porch’ chats. Her tireless work for many years with the Animal Aide organization is a wonderful legacy.
