Smith, Gordon James -
Peacefully with family and friends by his side at his home on Wednesday, June 6th, 2018 in his 82nd year. Loving father of Kim MacLeod and Brad (Annette) Smith. A beloved brother, he is survived by Jerome Smith, Audrey (Elgin) Fisher, and Andrew (Tina) Smith. Predeceased by his parents Andy and Eva Smith, brothers Lorne, Arthur, and Jack (Bud) and sister Teresa (Tiny).
Gord will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Alex, Meg and Julia as well as by his extended family and friends. A celebration of Gord's life will be held in London at the Victoria Legion at 311 Oakland Ave on June 19th from 6 to 9 pm and in Goderich at the Goderich Legion on June 23rd from 1 to 4 pm. Memorial donations to a Melanoma Network of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
