He was my grandfather and grandfather to many, but he sadly passed and he gave the drum that many people saw at his funeral to my family, hoping that we would carry on his memory.

To my Sister-in-Law, Darlene, you lost a loving husband and partner of many years.
To my niece Deanna, you will always be Daddy's girl. Hold that close to your heart.
To my nephew Darcey, you lost the man who taught you the good things in life. Keep fishing and hunting and you'll keep the memories of your Dad alive.
Jim, my Big Bro, I miss you dearly.
Rest In Peace.

Darlene, Darcey, Deana, Jason and families,
Our heartfelt condolences are being sent your way. We are so saddened to hear of Jim's passing so quick and so young. Keep your memories close to your heart and lean on your friends during this most difficult time. We never had the opportunity to meet Jim but he was still a part of our family too. I'm sure you'll all see a bit of Jim in the grandchildren and hope you find peace knowing that his spirit lives on. Once again, we are so sorry for your loss and our hearts are breaking for you.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you,
Danny and Michele

Darlene and family,
We are very sorry for your loss. I can picture Jim standing on the bank of a river catching the perfect fish.
I was very fortunate to share a room with Jim at Victoria hospital in April, 2012 after open heart surgery. I often think about the conversations and the events that occurred in that room. Jim provided a perspective that took me some time to understand but after a while of recovery I knew what he was telling me. I appreciated the conversations we had sitting in our chairs all hours of the day and night.
Darlene, he had an impact.
We are think of you through these hard times.
