Obituary of Elsie Jane Van Beest
Elsie Van Beest died peacefully in Meadow Park Long-term Care on May 26, 2021 in London Ontario at the age of 76. Elsie was born on March 18, 1945 in Flin Flon, Manitoba.
Elsie joins the love of her life, Clem (1946-2019) and is survived by her son Bob (Jennifer), daughter Susan (Barry), grandchildren Gavin, Amy, Elise and Zac. She will be missed by many family members and friends.
Elsie was a very kind, thoughtful and loving woman. It was not unusual for her to overlook her own challenges to support someone else in need. Parkinson’s disease may have challenged her, but could not diminish her spirit. She will be remembered for her laugh, love of travel and delicious cooking.
Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will not be a celebration at this time.
