Obituary of Ronald John Barned
After a courageous battle with ALS, Ron passed away at home on June 22nd, 2021.
Beloved husband of Cheryl (Balko). Loved by his children Tammy (Darrell) McIntosh, Steven (Patricia) Barned, and Michelle (Ian) Hunter. Proud grandfather of Austin, Brady, Madison, Emily, Nathan, and Hannah. Brother of Jean Zak, Susan Brown (Richard, now deceased), and Glenn (Peta) Barned. Predeceased by his parents John and Mildred and grandson Cameron Hunter.
Ron was a member of the Ilderton Curling Club for many years, and a life long Braves fan. He was an avid bird watcher, hiker and gardener, and especially loved growing his great tomatoes. He also loved playing cards with his family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the ALS Society would be appreciated.
