It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Laureen Ciotti

(Merrick). Laureen was the loving wife of the Late Bob Ciotti Jr. 2019. Cherished

mother of Robert (Kristine), Lori (Rick) Baetz, Dan (Judy), John (Late Jean) and Patti (Steve)

Hay.

Wonderful grandmother of Amanda Arsenault, Jodie Moon, Sarah (Allan)

Hamilton, Andrea (Brandon) Ackles, Jamie (Sara) Ciotti, Michael (Tanya) Ciotti,

Chris Ciotti, Zachary Riddell, Jenna Ciotti, Jonny Riddell And Anthony Ciotti. Great

grandmother of Brandon Ciotti Falla, Tj (Alyssa) Arsenault, Aden Moon, Paige

Moon, Isabella Hamilton, Isla Hamilton, Weston Ackles, Nora Ciotti And Lilliana

Ciotti. Aunt To Many Nephews And Nieces.

Laureen Was Born on Manitoulin Island October 2, 1937, to Frank Merrick and

Hazel Mccoleman. Laureen was predeceased by her siblings Pat Burns (Bob) Bill

Merrick (Alice), Carlyle Merrick, Shirley Starling (Bob) And Carol Matthews (Al).

Laureen and Bob were married in Sault Ste Marie, where they raised their 5

children until 1975, when they relocated to Renton Ontario and Owned and

operated the 18-Wheeler Truckstop & Restaurant. Laureen also volunteered

countless hours to the Childrens Aid Society.

Laureen was an avid hockey mom & Toronto Maple Leaf fan with a great sense of

humor, quick wit and never hesitated to help those in need.

A private family gathering will take place later date.
