I’m just learning this now & it saddens me to hear. I worked for Ralph for a number of years at Coral Reef Inn. Many fond & fun memories, lots of stories of his carnival days. My thoughts to Joe, Patrick & Phillip and the rest of his family.

We first had the honour of meeting Ralph September 2005 when we took a break from our own restaurant and booked in at The Coral Reef for an overnight stay. Ralph took us under his wing and we became lifelong friends. His charisma and wise advice helped us many times over the years. Rich and I frequently looked forward to booking nights away at The Coral Reef so that we could visit with our friend Ralph. Many a night after closing time we sat and listened to Ralph tell us stories of his parents and childhood. Stories of how proud he was of his boys were also included. For years Ralph stopped in at our place to check in on us and offer assistance. Ralph was a wonderful man. He will be deeply missed. Our condolences to his family.

Dear Joe, Phillip and Patrick - we were so sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. He certainly was an interesting person to talk to, and we enjoyed chatting with him last Thanksgiving. You will miss your dad terribly! Keep your memories close, and know that he'll always be with you.

I am very sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. I really liked Ralph. We were frequent visitors to his restaurant and we had many chats in the main dining room between shifts. Ralph was a bit of a dreamer, always wanting his Restaurant/Motel to be bigger and better than it was. He spent many days upgrading the rooms, always keeping busy. He was skilled in the kitchen and was not afraid to ring the bell when one of the servers was making his customers wait. Ralph was a character and was fun to be around. Ralph has been missed in Grand Bend for many years.
