Obituary for Arthur ("Art") Haslip
Haslip, Arthur ("Art") passed away quietly on September 25, 2021 in his home at 200 St. James Street, London, in his 77'th year. Predeceased by his mother, Katherine Haslip, father, Arthur Haslip and brother Reginald. Art is survived by, among others, his granddaughter Sabrina Boyce (Sean Rafferty); great-grandchildren Aubree and Lucas; and cousins Marion, Georgina and Cathy. Art is also survived by several members of his St. James Street "family" to whom he was a great friend; fantastic chef; and the common bond who brought and held the family together: he will be greatly missed and is lovingly remembered. Art led a full, varied and colorful life. Art retired from Western University's Facilities Management division 12 years ago. A memorial for Art will be held "out back" at 200 St. James Street on Saturday, October 2 from 2 -6 PM: friends and family are invited to attend. Cremation has taken place and at Art's request there will be no service.
