Brandon, Kathryn, and Jordan are deeply saddened to announce the loss of their beloved mother Janice Marilyn McKinnon Wicks. Janice passed away on September 24, 2015 at age 56 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Jan dedicated her life to her family and her dogs. Family always came first and her passing has left a void that cannot be filled. We shall hold her close to our hearts forever.
Janice was the loving companion of Scott Little and the cherished youngest daughter of Alta (Pettinger) and the late John McKinnon. She was the much loved sister of Diane (Don) Gould of Mississauga, Kevin McKinnon, and Carol McKinnon both of London. Dearest aunt of Andrea (Ross) Middleton of Oakville, Adam Gould, and Bethany Gould both of Mississauga, Kristen McKinnon of Petrolia, John (Des) McKinnon of Ottawa and special great aunt of Ashlyn Middleton.
At Janice’s request there will be no public viewing. Instead, a grave side service will be held on Tuesday, September 29 at 11 am at Woodland Cemetery with a reception to follow at the McKinnon residence.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation or the London Humane Society would be gratefully appreciated.
