Obituary of Ernst Courtman Lautebach

Ernst Courtman Lautebach passed away peacefully in his sleep.  He was in his 89th year.  He was deceased by his wife of 65 years, F.Velma Somerville.  Born November 9, 1933 to parents William Lautebach and Martha Miller. Ernst is survived by his 3 children Tom(Colleen) Lautebach, Brenda Howey and Karen(Jim) Mote.  His grandchildren Shawn(Bri) Lautebach, Jenn(Justin) Fleming, Kate(Andrew) McGill, Mark Lautebach, Amy(Russ)Cloes, April(Bethany)Mote, Adam(Carolyn)Mote as well as 11 great grandchildren.  Ernst was also deceased by his brother Bob (Sharon) Lautebach, 3 nephews Robert Lautebach, Dave Lautebach and Dave Hall.  Ernst is also survived by his sister Francis(Bill) Underhill, and 2 brother in laws Boyce(Marjorie) Somerville, Ronald(Joy) Somerville.  Sister in law Lois Somerville, deceased sister in law Maureen Somerville.  Ernst was survived by several Nieces and Nephews.  He worked at Weatherheads Hayes Dana for 38 years.  He was a life time member of Central United Church for over 66 years.  He was also a active member of Hayes Dana retirees.  In Ernst life he along with his wife enjoyed life of travelling and many family events.  He started out as a auto mechanic and then went to work in Weatherheads.  Ernst had a hobby for many years that was helping family and friends fixing their cars.  A celebration of life will be announced.
