Obituary of Yvonne Marie Stirling

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, sister, daughter and grandmother Yvonne Marie Stirling of Listowel on September 16th at Victoria Hospital, London Ontario. Born on August 5, 1964, she was the daughter of Carol Thibedeau and the late Rene Robert. Yvonne had many health complications but continued to defy the odds. We were overjoyed and hopeful by the news she would be added to the transplant list for a double lung transplant. Yvonne fought until the very end and passed peacefully surrounded by those she loves. 

Yvonne was an ambitious person that was always looking for her next craft project or adventure. She was a certified Bob Ross landscape artist with a passion for teaching and an appreciation for all things art. Yvonne loved to spend time relaxing with Hugh at their trailer in Kincardine enjoying the campfires and time with family and friends. While our hearts are broken, we are relieved she is no longer suffering and welcomed into loving arms in Heaven.

Yvonne leaves behind her husband Hugh; daughters Samantha (Alex), Emily (Jeff), Melissa (Shawn); her son Matthew; stepchildren Brittany and Christopher (Kailie); brothers Dean and Wayne; sisters Barbara (Sandy) and Karen (Sandy); and grandchildren Mason, Axel, Adeline, Arlen, Jayson and Aleczander. Yvonne our angel, is now at rest with her father and is watching over us; she will be deeply missed. Cremation has taken place. 

A private family service will be held in Nova Scotia. Special thanks to the Teams in London and Toronto for all their care and compassion - you guys are the best.
