George Rudy Warnock
1958-2023
It is with profound sadness that the family of George Rudy Warnock of London, Ontario announces his sudden passing on March 10, 2023, at the age of 65. George was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on February 11, 1958. Predeceased by his parents Margaret (nee Patterson) and George Warnock. Beloved brother of Loraine of Ipperwash Beach and Patricia (Scott) of London. Sadly, missed by niece Meagan Warnock of Mississauga and nephew Robert Norrie (Emma) of Northern Ireland. Dedicated great uncle of Caileigh, Owen, Julia, Mia and Aryia. George will be dearly missed by many cousins, extended family, and numerous life long friends.
George loved sports especially soccer, basketball and golf. He played in numerous Gus Macker 3 on 3 Basketball Tournaments. Over the years his various teams won many trophies and awards. He loved watching all sports on TV especially when it came to football and his Chicago Bears.
George was passionate about music and attended many concerts over the years. He also enjoyed listening to music at home all the time.
He worked in construction his entire life as a Sheet Metal Worker starting at Culliton Brothers in Stratford in the early 80’s before moving to London and joining Local 473 Sheet Metal Workers.
He loved to travel especially to Ireland where he would tour or spend time with his nephew Robert. He traveled out west to Edmonton one summer on his Harley. He also enjoyed trips to Mexico, Cuba and to the east coast of Canada.
George was a very private person who always made sure his family and friends knew how much he loved them. He would do anything for anyone and he will be greatly missed by so many.
Cremation has taken place.
