Obituary of Gabriele Rigano

Gabriele (“Gabe”) Rigano, in his 61st year, passed away peacefully at his home in London, Ontario at 3:54am (ironically Gabe was born March, 1954) on July 25, 2014 (5 years to the day of his Fathers’ death and on his daughters’ birthday) with his close family by his side. His dream of bringing his family together was fulfilled as he was surrounded by family and close friends in his final days. Gabe was a well-known television personality for his “prices Slashed” 2001 Audio Video commercials, many others were privileged to hear his beautiful voice as a seasoned Karaoke singer that could rival the likes of Garth Brooks. Beloved soul mate to Susan Hartung, London. Cherished father to Jen Mather, Tilsonburg; Ben Rigano (Marie-Josée “MJ” Saudino), Toronto; and Francesca Desrosiers (Shawn), Rockwood, stepfather to Sally Hartung, London; Tyler Hartung (Elyse Palmer), Stoneycreek. Brother of Daniele Rigano (Louanne), Florida; Antonio Rigano, Toronto; Maria Romans (Gary), Toronto; Carmela Pietrobon (Louis), Vaughan. A very dear and greatly missed Grandfather (Nonno) to Olivia, Jacksen, Ella, Addison, Annalysse, Owen, Sarah & Jacob. Predeceased by his parents Francesca & Salvatore Rigano. Special thanks to the VON and CCAC support staff for all their care and compassion shown to him in his final days at home. Thank you also to The Men's Gospel for their friendship and prayers. It was truly comforting to know and witness that he found peace, comfort and joy with our Lord in the past year along with providing the necessary stewardship in being a Christian. Until we all meet again. ...peace be with you. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Civic Garden Complex, 625 Springbank Drive, London, on Thursday August 7, 2014 from 2pm to 7pm, withtributes and music starting at 3pm and a Dedication at 5:30pm. In lieu of flowers, there are legacy funds being set up where one can contribute in memory.
