Obituary of Michele Colleen Shorley
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Wife, Mother, and Sister, Michele Colleen Shorley. She passed away suddenly on June 22, 2023. Born on June 14, 1964, Michele is predeceased by her parents, E. Roy Shorley (2012) and Marian J. Shorley (2018). Loving wife to Dale Penney, proud mother to Agnes Penney, and faithful sister to Roianne Galloway and her husband Dave Galloway. She will also be missed by Patricia (Robert) Scott, William (Dimitra) Shorley, Nona (Tom) Turner, Shawn (June) Penney, and Paul (Linda) Penney. Survived and loved by many, nieces, nephews, cousins, and grand nieces and nephews. Michele was a fierce and talented crocheter whose craft brought colour and joy to so many. She was an avid reader of fantasy and science fiction, and an animal lover and advocate for animal wellbeing. She will be greatly missed by many friends and family. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 2nd from 1:00-4:00 pm at 17 Cheviot Road, London ON.
