I was so sad to hear of Eleanore's passing. I first met Eleanore at Union Gas in Chatham as we both worked in the Payroll Dept. We shared many trips together with other Chatham gals & enjoyed every one of them. I will miss those fun times together. Lots of great memories.. My thoughts are now with her family. Sincere condolences to the family in the loss of dear Eleanore. I had the honour of working with Eleanore in the Registrars office at Fanshawe College. I’ll always remember her positive attitude and the way she made everyone laugh and feel welcome. She definitely made a difference in my life. My condolences to all of Eleanore's family. I started working in the Office of the Registrar in 1984 and Eleanore was one of the kindest ladies I met. She was feisty and friendly and had a great laugh! We shared some group dinners together after she retired and I fondly remember when she won the dream home! This news is sad, but I'm sure Eleanore will rest in peace with some of her old Registrar's buddies like Lois Luke and Esther Andrews.

I have such wonderful memories working directly with Eleanore at Fanshawe College Registrar's Office in the late '80's. She was my teacher, confidante and friend all wrapped up in one. Her sense of humour and laugh were second to none. Eleanore will be missed by so many, she was truly one of a kind! I will carry fond memories of her, most recently at the Retiree's Christmas luncheon. To her family, my sincerest condolences. Eleanore always spoke with so much love for you all and all the grands.
