Jeff & Carolyn Hooper posted a condolence

Jeff, Carolyn & boys are grateful that we had the opportunity to visit with Grandpa Hooper last summer. It was a beautiful, sunny day and Grandpa Burrell looked happy, healthy and had wise comments for the grand/great grandchildren present!
Happy also that Keegan (Burrell) our eldest got a chance to meet his name-sake!

Burrell was always a kind ,gentle, funny man, he loved to play little jokes on people. One could not ask for a better father-in-law, or a better Grampa, than he was to our three children Jeff, Dan and Debbie. One thing that always reminds me of Burrell was he always whistled , and to this day my husband Bill , whistles just like his Dad use too, we will miss you always Dad......

My condolences to all the family.
I worked with Burrell at Fine Papers on Oxford St. which seems like so many years ago. I remember him as a wonderful man with always a kind work and wonderful smile. Numerous times he would give me a ride home since I lived at Adelaide and Fanshawe and would have good conversations without mentioning work. Once he came and visited my wife and I with her dad. I do believe they worked at George Whites together.
My only regret is I didn't see him after when I left Fine Papers.
I'm sure he will be sadly missed.

I am so very very sorry and I will miss him having coffee with him at Tim Hortons. He touched my heart and I will miss him and his stories about the clan. I can only tell you I will miss him.

To The Hooper Family,
I worked with your Dad at Fine Papers in London for a few years.I have many fond memories of our time together. Your Dad always kept the other staff on their toes and never missed an opportunity to make us laugh. Burrell made working at Fine Papers a very enjoyable experience.Your Dad enjoyed a practical joke, but was always thinking one step ahead of the rest of us. I am sure that is why he was in charge !!!!. I still laugh when I think about the day he cut my tie in half......I deserved it.
Keep all of the loving and warm memories close to your hearts and he will never be far away.
Rest in peace Burrell
